A new boiler,
fitted properly.
Marlden Heating replaces ageing and broken boilers with modern, efficient units — installed by qualified engineers, at a price that is confirmed in writing before we start.
Get your free quoteAn unreliable boiler costs you more every month
A boiler that short-cycles, loses pressure, or takes three attempts to ignite is already failing. Beyond the inconvenience, it is burning more gas per unit of heat than a correctly sized modern unit — and repair bills add up faster than the cost of a planned replacement.
The decision to replace is rarely sudden. Most homeowners wait longer than they should because they expect the process to be disruptive, overpriced, or unclear. Marlden Heating exists to remove those barriers.

-
Submit your details
Fill in the short form below. Tell us your property type, current boiler make, and the main issue you're experiencing. No phone call required at this stage.
-
Receive a fixed quote
We review your details and send a written quote within one working day. The price covers the boiler unit, standard flue, labour, and commissioning. No caveats buried in the small print.
-
Book your installation date
Once you confirm, we assign a Gas Safe engineer and agree a date that suits your schedule. We aim to have most installations booked within the same week.
-
Installation and sign-off
Your engineer arrives at the agreed time, installs your new boiler, tests every function, and hands over the Gas Safe certificate and manufacturer warranty documentation before leaving.
Boiler installation services
We install the boiler type that fits your home — not a default recommendation.
Combi boiler installation
The most common choice for UK homes without a separate hot-water cylinder. A combi delivers heating and instant hot water from a single unit, removing the need for a loft tank or airing cupboard cylinder.
System boiler installation
Suited to larger properties with multiple bathrooms where simultaneous hot-water demand is high. The system boiler works alongside a sealed hot-water cylinder and removes the open-vented tank from your loft.
Heat-only boiler replacement
If your home already has a fully functional open-vented cylinder and loft tank and you wish to keep that setup, we replace the heat-only boiler while keeping the existing pipework where it is practical to do so.
Boiler type conversion
Switching from a heat-only setup to a combi, or vice versa, involves pipework changes and cylinder removal. Our engineers handle the full conversion, including capping redundant feeds and testing every circuit before sign-off.
Built to last — installed to standard
Every boiler Marlden Heating fits is commissioned in line with the manufacturer's specification and the current Gas Safe installation requirements. We do not cut corners on flue runs, pipe sizing, or inhibitor dosing.

At completion you receive the Gas Safe Building Regulations notification, manufacturer warranty card, and a written record of the commissioning checks carried out.

Frequently asked questions
- How long does a new boiler installation take?
- Most straightforward combi boiler swaps are completed within a single working day. More complex system changes or cylinder removals may take up to two days. We confirm the expected duration in your written quote.
- Do I need to be home during the installation?
- Yes — an adult occupant must be present throughout so our engineer can walk you through the controls and hand over all documentation at the end of the job.
- Are Marlden Heating engineers Gas Safe registered?
- Yes. Every engineer who carries out an installation holds a current Gas Safe registration. You are given their card number before they begin work so you can verify it independently via the Gas Safe Register website.
- What brands of boiler do you install?
- We install boilers from a range of manufacturers and will recommend the model best suited to your property's heating demand and hot water usage — not the one with the highest margin. Specific brands are discussed during the quoting stage.
- Is the quoted price the final price I pay?
- Yes. The fixed price in your written quote covers labour, the boiler unit, standard flue, and commissioning. The only exceptions are unforeseen structural changes — which we flag and discuss with you before proceeding, never retrospectively.
